People’s Deputy of Ukraine, member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy Andrii Boblyakh and People’s Deputy of Ukraine, member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, head of the Poltava regional branch of the “Servant of the People” party Oleksii Ustenko were guests of honor.

Here they prepare worthy specialists, develop the creative potential of students and involve them in social life. The university can easily compete with foreign universities. Objectively, higher education institutions of the same level as the Polytechnic are rare to find throughout Ukraine. And the most important thing is an extremely excellent team led by Rector Volodymyr Onyshchenko. I thank all of you very much, as the whole of Ukraine thanks you for staying in Ukraine, for continuing to educate students, teach them, and raise a new generation. Once again, I congratulate all students. Thank you to every employee of educational institutions who, despite the circumstances, continue to teach the next generation. Cheers to you, success and inspiration. We believe in Ukraine!” – congratulated People’s Deputy Oleksii Ustenko.
The parliamentarians conveyed congratulations from Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk and presented the rector with a Diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

I sincerely thank you for your kind words about the university, for your support and cooperation. And special gratitude for the recognition of selfless work of our team, which remains in place and takes care of quality education in Ukraine. This is another historical event in the life of our university! As Oleksii Ustenko said, Poltava Polytechnic is a university that is worthy of being a competitor of many European universities and, first of all, it is the merit of the entire team. We try not only to meet the challenges of time, but also to be worthy of the efforts made by our defenders, who are fighting for our future.

The founder of the Volunteer Headquarters of the Poltava Polytechnic, the head of the Center for Culture and Student Creativity of the university and the Rector’s advisor on youth policy Artem Loik was also awarded with Citation of the head of the political party “Servant of the People” Olena Shuliak.
“First of all, I want to congratulate everyone on the Day of Knowledge, since we are entering a rather difficult academic year as teachers, and I say this as a parent of a first-grader, and as a people’s deputy. We all have responsibilities. First of all, I want to thank you for what you are doing, for staying in Ukraine, for staying at the university and continuing to work with our youth, teaching them and continuing to develop yourself. Since last year, when the pandemic started, since the beginning of the war, the university has been working continuously.
It is quite pleasant to see young people, students studying, as they are the ones who have been working for our victory since the first days of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation. I thank Artem Loik, thank Yaroslav Perederii, and thank Oleksandr Drobotia. It was clear that these people are constantly working and want to contribute to our victory. I want to wish you that this year you will hear calls for a break more often than air alarms,” – wished People’s Deputy Andrii Bobliakh.
The Student Parliament presented the people’s deputies with Citations for their support of youth initiatives.
It should be recalled that the university team has been awarded the highest Government award five times during its history.
