Rector of Cherkasy State Technological University, Professor Oleh Hryhor was on an official visit to the National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" within the framework of the cooperation agreement in education and science and organization of the mobility program for those receiving higher education.
Rector of National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic", Professor Volodymyr Onyshchenko discussed the state of the agreement implementation, opportunities for scientists and students, as well as prospects for academic mobility programs for students along with scientific and pedagogical staff within the framework of joint exchange programs, national and international programs and projects.
"It is difficult to overestimate the importance of cooperation between the universities of Central Ukraine, especially since Poltava and Cherkasy have historically been centers of Ukrainian culture. We continue to fill our contract with specific cases. In addition to distance education opportunities, we would like to see an improvement in the coronavirus situation and implement a module of the academic mobility program with travel for students. We also plan to hold joint scientific conferences, special courses for postgraduate students and training courses and internships for academic workers for their professional development in accordance with state policy in the field of education and quality assurance of education. I thank my colleagues for the cooperation and I appreciate our friendship!" – said Rector Volodymyr Onyshchenko.
Rector of CHSTU Oleh Hryhor presented the rector of Poltava Polytechnic Volodymyr Onyshchenko with Citation of the CHSTU for long-term partnership with Cherkasy State Technological University, significant personal contribution to the development of present-day state policy in the field of education.
"Being on a working trip to Poltava Polytechnic, I was pleasantly impressed by the university staff with their development in the field of education, advanced technologies in educational and scientific processes. I wish students a great future in the development and stability of our state," – commented the rector of Cherkasy State Technological University, Professor Oleh Hryhor. He also noted the activities of scientific schools of Poltava Polytechnic and the high professionalism of scientists. It is noteworthy that the scientists who defended their papers at Poltava Polytechnic University continue their research activities and work at CHSTU, in particular at the Faculty of Economics and Management.
The head of the partner university got acquainted with the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process and research activities of Poltava Polytechnic, observed innovative educational locations, educational and scientific laboratories, language centers and sports locations of the university.
