Leading expert, forensic expert of the National Scientific Center “Hon. Prof. M.S. According to experienced experts, the role of a forensic expert has been evolving throughout the history of practical justice. Therefore, the professionals drew the attention of young people to the significant changes that have already taken place since the founding of the National Scientific Center “Hon. Prof. M.S. Bokarius Forensic Science Institute”, stressing that a modern expert is not only able to provide objective evidence in a trial, but also plays an important role as a consultant, providing lawyers and judges with specialized expert information.

During the lecture-training, the lecturers explained the differences between the fields of activity of forensic medical experts and general forensic experts. According to them, medical experts specialize in the medical aspects of criminal cases, such as death, trauma and other bodily harm. For their part, general forensic experts examine a wide range of evidence, including documents, manuscripts, biological materials, physical evidence, and more.

The training participants received a set of concrete practical cases, which helped to understand how expert opinions can affect the outcome of the court process. The lecturers shared real-life situations where expert research played a decisive role in establishing the veracity of the accusation or determining the status of the case. This allowed future lawyers to see the importance and relevance of forensic examination in the administration of justice.

After the meeting, the young students shared their impressions, noting that such scientific, educational and professional events motivate them to work on expanding their own professional horizons.

Academic workers and students of the Department of Public Management, Administration and Law of the National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” express their sincere gratitude for the unique opportunity to deepen their own professional knowledge and see in practice how important and necessary the role of experts is in the judicial process.
