The competition took place at Oles Honchar Dnipro National University which decided to summarize the results according to the first stage of the second round of the competition.
Dariia Kondratska, a third-year student at Educational and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management, specialization “International Economic Relations” (group 301FM) has won the third place with her research called “Gender inequality in the EU countries and its influence of the social and economical development” and has been awarded the third-grade diploma. Her academic advisor is the Head of the Department of International Economics and Marketing, Doctor of Economics Iryna Chychkalo-Kondratska.
The research covers the problems of gender inequality in the economical field in the European Union, describes the correlation between the gender inequality rate and the social and economical development of the EU countries, and also analyzes the modern index of gender inequality in Ukraine and offers ways to solve the problem using the best European experience.
