Procedure for participating in the Erasmus+ ICM program

Step 1: Coordination with Your Graduating Department

The first step in your application process is to reach out to your graduating department to discuss your intent to participate in the program. Your department coordinators will review your current curriculum at the Poltava Polytechnic and compare it with the Erasmus+ course offerings at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt for the fall semester of 2026/2027.

If the disciplines are found to be compatible, your department will prepare two formal memos required for your mobility package. Furthermore, they will coordinate with the Institute's administration to issue your official Academic Transcript (statement of grades).

Important Note: please be advised that these documents are mandatory. Students who have not obtained the required two official memos and the academic transcript by the application deadline will not be eligible to proceed to the English language testing stage.

Step 2. Preparation of personal documents

  • 2 official memos from the graduating department;
  • Academic transcript from the dean's office;
  • Scanned copy of the international passport (first page, PDF format);

  • Motivation letter in English (max 1 page, PDF format);
  • Passport-sized photo (.jpeg);
  • Scanned copy of the secondary education certificate with supplements;
  • Foreign language proficiency certificate (if available).

Motivation letters are checked for plagiarism and AI use.

It is forbidden to submit the same motivation letter for multiple mobility programs.

Documents not prepared in accordance with the requirements will not be accepted.

Step 3. Submission of documents

The document package must be submitted simultaneously in electronic and printed form to the International Relations Department (office 213-C) through the graduating department.
