The Executive Committee of Poltava City Council made the decision on awarding the scholarships for higher education institutions students at the meeting of the committee.
The members of the scholarship commission analyzed the submitted candidates and determined the scholarship receivers, whose average grade is not less than 4,5 and who had special achievements in social, scientific, educational, artistic and sport fields.
The three following students of National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic” are to receive the scholarship of Poltava City Council:
Winner of the competition for creative ideas and innovative solutions for the oil and gas field of Ukraine held by the Independent Petroleum Leaders (IPL) platform Dmytro Kliuchka;
Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, Champion of Europe in Kettlebell Lifting Ihor Havryshko;
Graduate of the Poltava Polytechnic’s Startup School winner of the Competition of Investment Projects “Horizons of Poltavshchyna” held by Poltava Oblast State Administration Mykhailo Buhaievskyi.
According to the regulations of the award, they are awarded after the competition and funded from the city budget. The monthly scholarship for students of higher education institutions of I-IV accreditation levels amounts to 1,500 UAH. The students will receive the scholarship from March, 1, 2021 to September, 1, 2021.
In November last year, Poltava City Council also awarded scholarships to three students of Poltava Polytechnic.
