Affirming its commitment to active international integration and the exchange of best practices, Yuriy Kondratyuk National University "Poltava Polytechnic" continues to expand its presence in the European educational landscape. As part of the Erasmus+ academic mobility program for teaching staff, Yuliia Hunchenko, Senior Lecturer at the Department of General Linguistics and Foreign Languages, completed a teaching mission at the partner HEI – Transilvania University of Brașov (Romania) – from October 20 to 24, 2025.

Transilvania University of Brașov is a classical, rapidly developing university that offers diverse, competitive educational programs to its students. Cooperation with such a dynamic higher education institution is highly beneficial and strategically crucial for the development of our university. Consequently, this trip was a significant step in strengthening bilateral cooperation and opened new horizons for professional development.
During the mobility period, an intensive professional dialogue and a fruitful exchange of experience took place with the lecturers of the Department of Pedagogical Disciplines at the Romanian university. Colleagues shared their own developments concerning the effective teaching of English to students in non-linguistic specialities. Significant attention was paid to discussing the specifics of developing and implementing effective curricula, as well as to the innovative content of educational courses in line with modern European requirements.
A particularly valuable experience was the opportunity to teach higher education seekers (students) at Transilvania University of Brașov. Topics dedicated to intercultural learning and teaching, as well as effective strategies for working in mixed-level groups, proved particularly interesting to the international audience. The presentations concluded with lively discussions among the students, confirming the relevance of the issues raised.
