In accordance with part three of Article 19 of the Law of Ukraine "On Scientific and Scientific-Technical Activities", the Procedure for State Certification of Higher Education Institutions in terms of their scientific (scientific and technical) activities, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of August 22, 2018 № 652 "Some issues of state certification of higher education institutions in terms of their scientific (scientific and technical) activities", the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated March 12, 2019 № 338 "On state certification of higher education institutions in terms of their scientific (scientific and technical) ) activities», registered in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on June 27, 2019 as № 688/33659 and № 689/33660, the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, dated July 31, 2020 as № 994 «On conducting state certification of higher education institutions in terms of their scientific (scientific-technical) activities that belong to the management sphere of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine», National University «Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic» prepared and submitted documents to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for certification of scientific activities in two areas: technical and social sciences.
According to the results of the Attestation Commission, sitting by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated March 25, 2021 as No. 372 "On the Results of the State Attestation of Higher Education Institutions in the Field of Scientific (Scientific and Technical) Activities", National University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic" successfully passed the state certification of higher education institutions in the field of scientific (scientific and technical) activities in both areas: engineering and social sciences.
There are 10 university departments which scientific schools in the following areas are generally recognized:
- Research of Reinforced Concrete and Stone Structures Subjected to Complex Deformations (Scientific Supervisor - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Pavlikov Andrii Mykolaiovych)
- School of Geotechnics (Scientific Supervisor - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Zotsenko Mykola Leonidovych)
- Reliability of Building Structures (Scientific Supervisor - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Pichugin Sergiy Fedorovich)
- Creation of theoretical bases for calculating, designing and implementing of effective means of complex mechanization of finishing works in construction (Founder - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Onishchenko Oleksandr Hryhorovych)
- Vibratory Machines and Vibratory Technology (Founder - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Leonid Serdyuk)
- Symmetric analysis of equations of mathematical physics (Scientific Supervisor - Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor, Ichanska Nataliia Vasylivna)
- Research and implementation in the construction of reinforced concrete structures (Founder - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Leonid Ivanovich Storozhenko)
- Automation of technological processes (Scientific Supervisor - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Oleksandr Vitaliyovych Shefer)
